Statement of Religious Ethos

Recognising their historic foundation, our schools will preserve and develop their religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level.

Our schools aim to serve their communities by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. They will encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promote Christian values through the experience they offer to all their pupils.

St Mary’s Church and St Peter’s Church

Situated just at the heart of the villages of Barrington and Ilton. We often use St. Peter’s church for worship and special services.

We are well supported by the church community.

Father Geoff is our School chaplain and is available to support children, parents, staff and governors. Father Geoff can be contacted directly via The Rectory (01460 240228) or you can visit him on the web here;

Father Geoff supports our School in many ways. He leads Collective Worship once a week in church. He attends as many School functions as he can and also drops into some staff meetings.
